  21. See my .sig for my setup. I removed df0: and placed my 850M HD there. I 
  22. have an external Commodore floppy connected to my external drive port 
  23. (draws power from Amiga). I am, however, using a PSU from my old A500. 
  24. These PSU's provide more power than A1200 PSU's, I understand.

  26. A lot will depend, I would imagine, on the amount of extras you have 
  27. (eg., memory, accelerator, etc) and on tha power consumption of the 3.5" 
  28. HD. Mine takes about 5 watts.

  30. Of course, the hard part for me was rigging up a cable to convert from the
  31. 44-pin IDE interface on the A1200 and the 40-pin on the 3.5" HD. You 
  32. might try various Amiga dealers as I've heard that some sell converter 
  33. boards for exactly this situation.
